PSW aims to reduce the challenges for capital raising within the internal trade ecosystem
Capital raising and trade financing are challenging for women-led micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) that play an increasingly important role in global trade. To facilitate women-led MSMEs to participate in international trade, PSW aims to reduce the challenges for capital raising within the internal trade ecosystem. PSW has launched Khadijah – The Women Entrepreneurship Program which is focused on addressing & overcoming the challenges women face as entrepreneurs.

FBR has declared that PSW system trade data is confidential
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has declared that all trade-related information, transmission, documents, or record gathered through the PSW system will be confidential. Under the new rules, the Customs and any other public or private sector entities exchanging data with the PSW system shall put in place adequate measures to ensure the protection of personal data, personal privacy, and the confidentiality of individual records and transactions.

PSW aims to provide a climate of financial inclusion to women traders to initiate start-ups
PSW aims to support women to contribute to the internal supply chains by providing them with a climate of financial inclusion to initiate start-ups and new ventures. PSW system seeks to narrow the opportunity and gender gap through a fully integrated digital system that provides women entrepreneurs with an easily accessible environment where they can transact with minimal cost and without the cost for intermediaries, and that eliminates potential gender discrimination from the cross-border trading industry of Pakistan.

PSW launched ‘Khadijah’ – Sindh TV News
The Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has launched “Khadijah – The Women Entrepreneurship Programme” in Karachi. This programme has been developed as a component of the Gender Action Plan developed by the PSW company with the objective to enhance the capacity of women in business and cross-border trade, to support women’s entrepreneurship development and to motivate women joining international trade-related workforce and professions.
